The Northern Koi Club meets monthly from September to April at St. Mark's Parish Hall, Station Road, Swinton, M27 6BY.
The meetings are usually held on the third Sunday of the month, starting at 2.00pm and finishing between 4.30pm and 5.00pm with a break part way through for tea/coffee and biscuits.

General meeting discusson on any koi related problems (if any) during the good weather. Trevor Fielding and Dave Chadwick will speak on various issues and their ponds.

An open discussion and views from members on such topics as preparing for winter. Perhaps the main topic will be the various methods members use to cover their ponds.

Yuko Howes will give presentations on the All Nagaoka Koi Show and on koi harvesting. Plus there will be ample time to discuss all things koi!

Tony McCann’s son Mat has been at the All Japan Show. One of his customers, Luanne Porter, has exhibited a 88 cm Showa which won a second prize. She bought the koi at Tosai. Tony will give the presentation that Luanne is doing at the Orlando Koi Show on March 14th. A transatlantic first for the Northern Koi Club!
This will be followed by our annual dinner at Blacksticks restaurant in Monton.

During summer months, we have activities such as Open Days (when members open their ponds and gardens for other members to visit), coach trips to other Koi clubs and Koi shows. It's a very exciting time of the year!
